WML EXPERIENCE

Woodstock Music Lab provides students with the opportunity to learn how to write, arrange, record, perform, legally protect, distribute, and promote music.

WML offers three intensive and immersive 10-week sessions over the course of each year. Course work — instrument/voice practicums, classwork and seminars — supports and is focused on studio projects. Working directly with mentors from across the industry, each term culminates with students’ collaboration on marketable music product.

For students who wish to use their experience at WML to transfer to other institutions of higher learning, WML will establish articulation agreements.

For students who wish to continue in the music industry, they will leave not only with a resume detailing skills developed under notable teachers and collaborators, but also with a deep professional network and an accomplished portfolio of work.
